This is another one that I picked up at the library before the second lockdown where the library of all places was included in the closures!

This book starts off with Jennifer Cole being told she has only three months to live after being diagnosed with a terminal blood disorder. I still don't understand why she didn't get a second opinion, but then there wouldn't have been a book I guess.

Since she only has three months to live, Jennifer decides to write letters to three people that explain how she has been hurt by them. She is not good with conflict, despite working in HR, and would rather send letters than have in person conversations. The letters go to her sister, ex-husband, and an ex-boyfriend. She doesn't expect much to come out of the letters, but is happily surprised about the responses.

As the time goes by, Jennifer seems to be progressing in her illness and enjoying the time she has left until SPOILER ALERT we find out that her doctor made a mistake and she does not have a terminal blood disorder. The rest of the book follows her navigating through getting back to regular life and figuring out what is actually going on with her health.

I was not a huge fan of this one, it just seemed very predictable and I did not understand some of the decisions she kept making. I struggled a bit to make myself keep reading and kept flipping forward to see what was going to happen.
